Regional security infrastructure upgrades across the North West of England, on a wide range of critical assets and infrastructure.
As highly experienced Utility Industry security partners, our teams worked hand-in-hand with United Utilities throughout AMP 6 to provide design and installation services to protect clean water treatment sites across the North West. Experts in the design and installation of integrated security solutions under the Security Emergency Measures Directive (SEMD) our teams worked closely to develop value-backed solutions which aligned to DEFRA and Water UK standards and where necessary complied with CPNI requirements.
Our works incorporated the scoping, inhouse design, installation and commissioning of measures to enhance the physical and electronic security at critical ‘Points of Interest’ across regional sites to detect, deter and delay potential site incursions. Our inhouse security design team worked collaboratively with the client to optimise solutions for construction and installation during the feasibility and design satages.
Solutions incorporated the integration of electronic security (inclusive of: CCTV, IDS, PIDS, and more) across all sites with existing networks and Alarm Monitoring Centre, maintaining usability as a key priority throughout. Physical solutions were inclusive of: Door upgrades, bar sets, hatches, fencing and anti-climb systems to provide resilience.
Our collaborative working approach to deliver value for money for United Utilities through whole life cost optimisation was recognised at the British Security Awards where our team won the accolade of installer of the year for this programme or work.
