The Park Square Private Rental Sector scheme is adding more than 320 apartments to central Milton Keynes, delivered for Habitus Group on behalf of client DLC Europe.
The development consists of four apartment buildings of eleven, nine, seven and three storeys, with commercial space at the ground floor level, an undercroft car park, and a central courtyard.
The four blocks were delivered as concrete frame solutions, utilising Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to increase efficiency in the building process, with concrete floors and inset balconies, and a brick façade covering the exteriors.
Smart meters were installed in every apartment, as well as solar PV (PhotoVoltaic) power and electric vehicle charging stations in the carpark areas to provide residents with sustainable and beneficial amenities.
The new apartment building is built on the site of a former garden centre, opposite the popular Xscape activity centre and bounded by Avebury Boulevard and Secklow Gate.
