Facilities Management

GTFM provide hard and soft facilities management services across the UK, operating in both public and private settings, with an emphasis on the Local Government, Health and Education sectors.

Through our people-first approach and a focus on our values we maintain and improve working, learning and living environments that enable our clients' operations to flourish.

Our services include planned preventative and reactive maintenance delivered by our mobile workforce, ensuring that our clients' assets remain compliant and safe, while minimising disruption to their estate.

At the heart of our operations is our computer-aided facilities management system. Our People

Operating within the FM market, our people are the heart of everything we do.  We are a people orientated business, driven by our vision and values to deliver FM across our clients' estate.

Through our structured learning and development programmes, highly successful apprenticeship schemes and attractive rewards and recognition polices, we ensure that we attract, retain and develop our colleagues in line with robust people polices.

Our colleagues, including the engineering teams operating across the UK, are fully supported by local HR and HSQE specialists who ensure that they undertake works safely, in line with current legislation and best working practices.

Supply chain

Our vetted specialist supply chain partners operate as an extension to GTFM and operate to the same policies and procedures as our direct employees.  We invest time and resources to support our partners, evident through our “Advantage through Alignment” programme.

The unique programme promotes collaboration across all parties and ensures that as one team, we work to common working practices and values.  This is achieved through a programme of support, training and education offered by GTFM to our partners, including access to our Challenging Beliefs, Affecting Behaviours programme which focus on behaviour, awareness and training.

Quality, Safety, Health and the Environment

The safety culture across GTFM and the wider Galliford Try organisation is evident through our commitment to our colleagues, customers, and stakeholders to keep people safe.  Operating within FM, our colleagues are required to respond quickly to our clients needs and it is vital that safety measures are never compromised, regardless of the nature of the works. This is underpinned through our Challenging Beliefs, Affecting Behaviours programme which focuses on behaviour, awareness and training.

Toolbox talks, refresher training and compliance training ensure our engineering teams are all operating to the latest standards and legislation. Managed centrally our in-house training and HSQE teams work seamlessly together to ensure that above all, we create and maintain and environment where care for our people and those who work with us is our top priority.

Policies and Management

Our policy and management systems are at the core of our strategy and provide a systematic approach to the provision of Health and Safety management at the workplace for employees and stakeholders who might be affected by our activities.

Our strategy is based upon the principles laid down in legislation, governmental guidance, and industry best practice, coupled with our external accreditation to ISO 45001, ISO14001 and ISO9001.
