Representatives from Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial welcomed a visit from Labour party leader Sir Keir Starmer, his deputy Angela Rayner and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, on the campaign trail.

Sir Keir and his group were introduced to members of the team delivering Plot 14 at the Brent Cross Town development, on behalf of Related Argent, giving an overview of the progress so far.

Galliford Try is currently delivering over 500 new homes as part of the regeneration scheme across Plot 14 and Plot 13, in projects worth a combined £162m, as well as residents’ amenities including a swimming pool.

In addition to visiting the site, Sir Keir was making a policy announcement for Labour to support first-time buyers through a new mortgage guarantee scheme, as part of the party’s manifesto for the upcoming general election on 4 July.

Project Director Neil Williamson, who led the Galliford Try delegation, commented: “We are always happy to welcome visitors to our site who take an interest in what we do, and Sir Keir and his team were very engaged discussing this exciting project with the team.”
