Galliford Try’s Building North West business has been nominated for two awards in this year’s Procure Partnerships Frameworks (PPF) Social Value Awards.

The awards have been created to celebrate the achievements of PPF’s partners in creating social value through the projects procured through the framework’s activity.

Galliford Try has been nominated for the Blue Light Award for Blackpool’s North West Ambulance Hub with North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, as well as for the Collaborative Working Group of the Year – North West Award (alongside Graham, ISG and John Sisk) for an initiative presenting construction careers to special educational needs and disability students, at The Grange School in Gorton.

Darren Parker, Managing Director for Galliford Try Building North West, commented: “We have a fantastic relationship with PPF in the North West and across the country and we are delighted to have been nominated in these Social Value Awards, a first for the framework. These nominations demonstrate our commitment to delivering for local communities across all of our activities.

“We look forward to the ceremony in June and wish the best of luck to everyone involved.”
