Five Galliford Try and Morrison Construction projects have been shortlisted for this year's annual Education Estates Awards, the leading exhibition and conference for the education sector, partnered by the Department for Education (DfE).

The business has been shortlisted in the following categories: University Project of the Year for National Manufacturing Institute Scotland; School Project of the Year for Wallyford Learning Campus; Inspiring Learning Spaces for Bloxham Grove Academy and Inclusive Design Project of the Year and Pupil/Student Experience for Beatlie School Campus.

Last year Galliford Try’s Building business was named Contractor of the Year for the third time running for the business’s commitment to producing Net Zero Carbon in Operation schools for the DfE and a strong track record in Special Educational Needs and Disability facilities.

Claire Jackson, Education Director for Galliford Try, said: "Education has remained a key sector for our business and we have consistently upheld our excellent track record in the market by providing high-quality facilities that benefit students and staff nationwide. Congratulations to the teams on these shortlistings, and I wish them the best of luck at the awards in October."

The winners will be announced in Manchester on 15 October.
