Galliford Try has been rated as the number one spot for apprentices and number two for graduates in this year’s JobCrowd results, the UK’s only graduate and apprentice employer league table based on employee feedback.
The business was named number one employer for apprentices within the Construction and Engineering sector, and number seven for overall best place to work for apprentices across all sectors. The list covers 600 plus employers who were benchmarked across criteria including culture, enjoyment of role, Environmental, Social and Governance, rewards, training and career progression, and work-life balance.
Galliford Try’s graduate scheme also finished high, being ranked at number two within the sector and in 26th place for all sectors. The Group has now featured in TheJobCrowd’s lists for ‘Top Graduate & Apprentice Employer’ for the sixth year running, with the Group securing top spot for graduates within construction, and second for apprentices last year.
The Group also retains Platinum Membership of the 5% Club, as one of only 20 organisations to reach the qualifying standard for employing early careers employees in ‘earn and learn’ positions.
