Galliford Try's Building London and South East Commercial business marked a significant milestone with the ceremonial ‘topping out’ of Plot 14 at the Brent Cross Town regeneration scheme.
The ceremony, which involved the final pour of concrete, was attended by the Galliford Try team and key project stakeholders, including representatives from Related Argent and their investment partners, Invesco, as well as the consultant team including Allies and Morrison, Whittam Cox Architects, Gardiner & Theobald, AKT II, Cast Consultancy, Chapman BDSP, Conran & Partners, and our supply chain partners.
Plot 14, which follows on from Galliford Try’s soon to launch Plot 13, will offer 286 build-to-rent homes, including a mix of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, along with various communal facilities. These include a 25m swimming pool, residents’ lounge, co-working space, fitness studio as well as basement parking for cars and bicycles.
This development is part of the £8bn Brent Cross Town project, a joint venture between Related Argent and Barnet Council. The larger scheme will deliver 6,700 new homes, three million sq ft of office and workspace and over 50 acres of parks and playing fields.
Matthew Pool, Managing Director of Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial, commented: “As we reach this key milestone with Plot 14, we are delighted to continue delivering high-quality build-to-rent homes and exceptional amenities for future residents. This is a significant step forward in the overall vision for Brent Cross Town, and we are proud to contribute to this vibrant, sustainable community.”
