Galliford Try has been named as BIM Constructor of the Year, at the BIM Awards, part of the BIM Show Live event in Newcastle.
The awards recognise and celebrate the innovators of digital construction, seeking out and rewarding those who are redefining the construction industry.
The Constructor of the Year award was sought to find the business that could best demonstrate how its approach to BIM had benefitted project delivery. Galliford Try adopts a whole team approach to BIM, assimilating it into its business processes, to focus fully on outcomes, as opposed to a technology-first mindset.
Adrian Shilliday, Technical Director for Galliford Try, commented: “We are delighted that the way we have integrated BIM within our business processes and BMS has been recognised. It is also a recognition of our teams on the ground for their hard work that has allowed us to deliver the digital requirements on our projects and bring benefits for our clients.”
