Andy Ward, Operations Director for Galliford Try Building North West, has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), earning a place in their Hall of Fame.
The CCS, which has championed the improvement of construction's impact on communities, the environment, and workforces for over 30 years, established the Hall of Fame to honour individuals who have made transformative contributions to the sector. Andy is one of only eight inductees, selected for his exceptional leadership, commitment to the CCS Code, and dedication to creating real change in the industry.
With over 20 years of experience in senior operational roles, Andy’s impact extends beyond delivering outstanding projects. His proactive support for his workforce, both professionally and personally, has earned deep respect, with many colleagues choosing to follow his leadership across companies. Andy’s innovative contributions include introducing dedicated community managers and pioneering performance management for social value.
